General Submission Information

Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Please note that a paper may be excluded from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from proceeding and not submitted to IOP) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Guide for Authors

  1. The article must be original (it has not been published in the same form elsewhere).
  2. Authors must prepare their papers IOP FORMAT style, using Microsoft Word, according to the guidelines and templates of IOP, and ensure that your paper has been checked for errors.
  3. Eliminate author names, contact information, and affiliations from the title and anywhere else; then convert this file to PDF.
  4. Authors must submit two forms of paper via web site; one using Microsoft Word and the other in PDF as in 3 above (i.e. without author names, contact information, and affiliations).
  5. Authors must ensure that the plagiarism checking for similarity is less than 30%.
  6. Authors and all co-authors agree the terms of the IOP Conference Series copyright and permissions.
  7. Authors or co-authors must download the COPYRIGHT FORM to fill, sign and save it with your paper number, then resend it again.
  8. Authors are responsible for any consequences of violating the IOP publishing instructions and any incompliance will lead to exclude the paper from publication under IOP.

Double Blind Review

The AMME has a double-blind review policy for all submissions. This policy preserves the anonymity of both judges and authors during the reviewing process, which helps to eliminate any perceptions of bias or favoritism. Several guidelines have been provided by the AMME-21 organizing committee to assist authors in editing their manuscripts in preparation for a double-blind review. Examples of these guidelines can be summarized as:

  • Use the third person to refer to the author's own work;
  • Depersonalize the work by using anonymous text where necessary;
  • Remove references to patents filed by authors or their institutions.

Paper Selection Criteria

Papers are reviewed by the AMME Technical Program committee. The selection criteria will be:

  1. Originality: Is the contribution unique and significant? Are proper references to previous work by the authors and others provided?
  2. Clarity: Is the paper contribution and technical content presented with clarity? Are the writing and accompanying figures clear and understandable?
  3. Quantitative content: Does the paper comprehensively describe the work with adequate supporting data?
